Wellesley to Vanderbilt or Brown

Hello,

I'm a second semester Wellesley College student hoping to transfer to Vanderbilt or Brown for my second year. Here are my current stats:

College GPA: getting solid B's in all four classes, but Wellesley has "grade deflation", which means that all lower level classes cannot have a grade average of over a B+

High School: 3.4 GPA, went to very competitive all girls' private school. Leader in high school orchestra. Transferred from public to private school in 11th grade.

Have played the violin for 12 years

Very interested in either engineering or pre-med.

I will not be applying for financial aid.

Very slim chance at Brown with only B’s. Better chance at Vanderbilt.

Forgot to add, my ACT score is a 31.

Bump!

I will chance back!

Bumpity bump!

I think you should wait a year and bring your grades to at least above average at W for any real shot at Brown.

I think you can transfer to Vanderbilt with some ease, but with B’s Brown might be a bit difficult.

Chance me?
