I plan on working in business, please help me out! I'm not sure which to pick!

Are you a freshman applicant? Deposit deadline was May 1, as I’m sure you’re aware…! I vote Notre Dame, though. They are well-known for their business program.

I just had to make this same decision! You really can’t go wrong with either, and both are strong in the program you want (Mendoza at ND and the Econ department at W). It was the same for me–both had the programs I want.

A few things really convinced me that Wellesley was the school for me. One was the location. I’m originally from Boston, but currently live in IN. Boston is an awesome city–and so close to campus, compared to Chicago and ND. Being close to the ocean is nice, too, during those humid days at the beginning and end of the school year. Another reason was the size. Wellesley is significantly smaller than ND with just over 2,000 students. I believe that I will receive the attention that I need and the “smaller” feel that I want in a smaller, liberal arts school as opposed to a considerably larger university. And finally, the homogeneity of ND turned me off a bit. Wellesley is very diverse across race, culture, and religion, and itself is not affiliated with a religion. ND’s majority is white and Catholic. I want to be exposed to a wide variety of people in college, not people just like me.

Good luck with your decision! That is just my two cents on how I chose between the same two schools. :)
