Is there anyone who has been in the wellness community? Can you please elaborate on your experiences? Any input, even from someone with a friend in a wellness community, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I really need someone else’s take on wellness as well. Please reply, guys!

You guys should all do wellness!!! Haha, I didn’t do it but I wish I had…not for the wellness crap (I really don’t think it makes much of a difference. All of east campus is dry–i.e., no alcohol–anyways), BUT because wellness is in Brown and the INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS are in Brown too! Haha, I’m not an international student, but I just think international students are more interesting in general, so it’d be fun to live there. So pretent to care about wellness while you really care about cultures! (PS, I hope wellness is still in Brown, lol. Also not ALL international students live there, but a disproportionate amount do.)

Anything else? Housing just came out and I was assigned to a triple in Wellness, which is still in Brown. I don’t remember putting Wellness down as a preference but I think my wake up time defaulted me there. I understand that East Campus is dry, but is Wellness horrifically strict on freshman drinking?

You shouldn’t be drinking if you’re under 21 my friend.

…sorry, shameless joke

LOL, kids in Brown party just like in any other dorm.

Although, the proportion is smaller and the dorm is noticeably quieter on a Friday night.

It’s certainly no Giles. =/

i know some people in brown who partied more than anyone else i know hahahaha
are they strict about it? no, i don’t think so. just don’t come back to the dorm loud and throwing up everywhere.

but with regards to the question, the people I knew in brown were pretty cool. I’ve never seen any other lounge as full as ones in brown at night. they watch movies, board games, other games, pool, etc.
