i'm curious to see how far other classes got in content this year. i live in alabama, so we get two years to cover the content of american history.
any horror stories of not getting very far at all?

Um....NO. I must have failed the AP...seriously the essays just like...raped me.

I got the impression that we got through all of it. I had an excellent teacher who knew what he was doing, even though I disagreed with his teaching methods (and thus this probably impeded my performance, but I'm only blaming my own inability to adapt). However I should have applied myself 5x more in the last stretch to do well. I think with another day of studying I could've done a lot better.

Overall, no I wasn't really prepared, but I should have been. No excuses, I deserve the blame. :S

Yes. I studied about a month for the test, just 30 minutes of reviewing everyday, with a laid back, flip-through kind of review yesterday. I thought the test itself was pretty good.

I willed myself not to procrastinate. :) It was a hard and long road.

I wasn't not prepare at all. Started studying on Sunday but often got distracted with the tv and other homework. I didn't do too well today. I will be disappointed if I don't even get a 3 on it.

The students finished outlining the textbook but our notes only got up to ~LBJ. I took the test on 1 hour of sleep. Luckily I was able to get half an hour of sleep after doing the multiple choice.

nope. hoping for a 4.

Self-studied for the test, hope I get a 5.

Not too prepared, but enough to pull a 4 probably.

I was prepared for the mc, but I could have had more essay practice. Still, I think the essays went fine. One thing that really helped me was making a flow sheet of basically all of history the night before. I quickly skimmed through the giant ahap review packet (its online somewhere) and wrote down key events and dates in order. I left most of them out but I wrote enough at each time period to write an essay on with. If anyone here debates, It was like a Policy/Lincoln-Douglas style flow sheet. It took only 2 hours and really helped me keep track of what happened when.

No not really, I could have studied a little earlier.

I should have taken more practice tests. The DBQ screwed me up and the multiple choice was okay. I hope I can get a four.

not very much, especially i was having some high fever during the test...
but i am pretty confident i will get a five though, cause our APUSH teacher have let us do numerous timed-DBQ and essay and MC in class...i really appreciate his style of teaching this class..and despite our school's schedule this year was messed up by various tests, our class still managed to go to the end of LBJ's presidency(we had actually two weeks less than previous years)

not as prepared as i wanted to be...my class didn't really get past FDR's New Deal.... the day before the test my teacher tried to cram some 50's and 60's stuff for us. for example i missed what should have been an easy question (the three mile island one) just b/c we never got to it. ugh. the stuff we had actually gotten to i felt pretty confident about, but on the second FRQ i didn't have my choice of essays...had to pick #4 b/c we just didn't learn enough about the 50's for me to even b.s. a decent essay.

can you ever fully prepare for the apush? cause i really do not think so. there is always going to be something you don't know

Was prepared for the MC... essays didn't turn out as good... but I'm thinking positively, since I was more screwed for Euro & got a 4.

Only if APUSH essays were more like those in AP Language... if only.. sigh...

I thought the essays were alright. I really studied the stuff before the 1960s but then on test day, all this crap about the Vietnam war and other stuff popped up.

Hope I get a 5.

I covered all of the necessary content, but I didn't do any extra preparation. I probably should have, though.

I felt somewhat prepared, but it wasn't my teacher's doing. Each day in that classroom was spent with him trying to brainwash us with his liberal ideals. It disgusts me.
