Sent in my app last night. I am so nervous how do I pass the time?
I don’t really want to compare numbers because somehow I feel that will jinx it.

95.3 average, my school doesn’t rank but if they did I would be top 10 percent.

32 ACT (34,33,33,27 :p)

I’m a composer at Juilliard Pre-College and I have wrote music for members of the NY Philharmonic, I have worked with directors in LA on short films, Played piano recitals at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, produced two rock albums, etc…

I submitted my apps yesterday but am still waiting to get my writing score to send in my ACT. Do anyone know when I get those?

wow I just keep getting more nervous.
This is going to be a really long month.

I was just thinking about test scores and freaking out. On the Wes website it says the last time to take the SAT for ED applicants is November, and I took subject tests in November and requested a score report to send all my scores when those are sent, but they won’t be for like a week. It’s probably fine, right?

Yes you’re fine neatocheeto, I’m having the same situation with my ACT score (waiting for the writing component) and one of my teachers needs to send in his Rec. I called Wes the other day and they said it’s fine if those are later than the deadline.

Jessica, I think people are just nervous. The people above have some good numbers but none of that actually completely assures an acceptance. It’s all a game.

Although it makes me nervous to see other people’s impressive numbers, some people like to compare just to get a better sense of where they stand.

I honestly think Wesleyan is the most perfect school and it fits literally everything I enjoy (film, music, liberal arts, sciences) and its just so nice and ahhhh.

I’m not going to make it to Dec 15. Also is that the date or is it BY December 15?

I like Wes sooo much more than any other school I looked at. Other schools seemed cool, and I’m sure I’d be happy at them, but it’s like comparing a cool place to heaven. Wes is basically my dream school and if I don’t get in I honestly don’t know what I’ll do. Probably just go to my state school and party my way through so I don’t have to think about what could have been.

same here. wesleyan is perfect in every way. going to look at vassar soon just to compare but i doubt ill like it nearly as much even though its supposed to be extremely similar. has anybody visited vassar?

Erm what do you guys see in Wesleyan? I am international, so I can’t visit. Regardless, after looking at videos and images and reviews, I can’t see what’s so special about the place.

I don’t think it’s necessary to visit a school to see how wonderful it is. I fell in love with Wes even before I had any chance to visit campus. Wesleying was another source that helped me get an idea of what the school offered outside of just academics. While on the site, I came upon this article: [Follow-up: Weird Wesleyan? | Wesleying](<a href=“Follow-up: Weird Wesleyan? | Wesleying”>Follow-up: Weird Wesleyan? | Wesleying). I think the post and the comments below it are nice examples of what makes Wes so special.
