Wesleyan Transfer Students 2010

Rejected as well. 70 students. Damn. Amherst was 25/400–didn’t think my chances would be about even. Well let’s go Connecticut college!

accepted incoming soph

Accepted, incoming sophomore as well.

i’m an incoming sophomore too, have you guys decided if you’re going yet?

Accepted, incoming soph. We should make a facebook group, people.

Accepted, not decided yet.

what did your letter say? did it mention something like this: “Admission to the University does not mean automatic acceptance into a major program. In fact, for students entering Wesleyan as juniors, it may be difficult or impossible to complete some majors and some departments and programs restrict the number of majors they accept.” ??

Im an incoming soph, not junior, and I’m just wondering if all of you had that in your letters.

Thanks

I was accepted but got absolutely awful aid. Hopefully they didn’t want to reject/waitlist me but don’t want to fork over the money so I can come, but this seems to be against the “need aware” policy.

Also, my letter said that and I’m an incoming sophomore. They probably just have a generic letter for everyone.

I got waitlisted for incoming soph

I got the same thing letter

“Admission to the University does not mean automatic acceptance into a major program. In fact, for students entering Wesleyan as juniors, it may be difficult or impossible to complete…”

Incoming Junior…

I’ll probably remain at my current school for financial reasons so…congrats to the people that got in…its a great school =)

is there a Facebook group for 2010-2011 transfers yet?

accepted! incoming sophomore! undecided about going though… i’m choosing between wes and barnard. any thoughts?

can anyone log on to the housing preference form on the wesleyan website?

Accepted! still deciding but excited about my acceptance. I’ll be a sophomore transfer. we should start a fb group! is there anyone who is definitely going? I think we all get housed together as transfer students

Good luck to someone on the waitlist; Wesleyan was way too expensive for my family and me, so I won’t be accepting their offer.

hey has anyone looked through the housing form yet? I’m trying to decide if i think it would be better to live with freshman or upperclassmen…

Wesleyan just left a message on my phone saying that they have good news about my transfer application! I HOPE THAT MEANS I GOT IN OFF THE WAITLIST! IF ONLY HAWAII DIDN’T HAVE A 6 HOUR TIME DIFFERENCE!!!

Is there an outdoor orientation trip for transfers? If so, did anyone sign up?

I was wondering if those accepted could post your stats for future transfers like me
