Hello, I am current a sophomore international student at a business school in the Boston area. I was accepted as a transfer to both Wesleyan and BC’s College of Arts and Science. I want to major in Economics and Psychology. Which school should I go to? I want to go to the school with the better academic reputation and can help me get in an Ivy League masters program. I personally like Wesleyan better but BC is more reputable in my home country. My parents want me to go to BC and I am torn right now. Thank you for your help.
You seem to be saying two slightly contradictory things: 1) You plan on getting a graduate degree and, 2) you’re parents think your baccalaureate degree is what is important.
Most people (and, I’m assuming internationals are no different)are going to be judged by their terminal degrees once they enter the work force. So, you’re goal is to pick a baccalaureate college that will get you into a good grad school. I would say you’re chances are greatly enhanced if you attend a college where YOU feel you can do your best, all things being equal (like cost.)

My niece, currently a PhD candidate in psych, graduated from BC and had nothing but praise for the BC psych department and money available for research.
Wesleyan is also an excellent school. I live near Wes and have even been recruited to participate in a research study by psych students there. I don’t think you can go wrong with either choice.
