Sure sounds very Wesleyan.

Here's the announcement from California College of the Arts that Roth is stepping down as its President to take the Wesleyan position.

I love that he was a first-generation college graduate.

That's a remarkable resume. Looks to be an excellent choice.

I've heard that the students who have met him from the Presidential Selection Committee thing quite liked him, and thought he seemed like the candidate with the most potential (if not the most experience).

He seems like he will be great, to me :D I'm excited!

Nice article in the Hartford paper:

I think it's really cool he plans to teach one class a semester.

Not to put a damper on what seems like a good thing but I go to the California College of the Arts and we all call him "President Who?" No one ever sees him on campus and pretty much everyone I know hasen't seem him since orientation last year. He's not very, what I would call, involved.

But he is funny. Well he was during orientation anyway.

Don't worry, if he isn't frolicking around with us, we'll put him under house arrest.
Simple enough?
:-P

Yeah, he's at the big dance, now. ;p
