West Point Parents' Clubs

For new West Point parents:

It is highly likely that because of privacy laws, your local parents' club will not have your names in order to reach out to you. You can use this link to contact your club. Most clubs will offer an opportunity to get together with other parents and current cadets before R-Day. You will appreciate the knowledge provided as well as the camaraderie. And the cadet candidates can meet their future colleagues.

There will be additional events throughout the year. And as you well know, none of your friends with kids at civilian colleges will really understand all the nuance of having a kid at a service academy.

Cadet candidates, please share with your parents who are not active here on cc.

My parents are sooo excited about the club in our city! It has gotten them all the information they need to be up to date (we aren't a military family). As expected, it is very, very organized and headed by dedicated people willing to help with anything. The club sponsors picnics and gatherings with Cadet Candidates and current Cadets to get more insight and meet each other before R-Day. The parents have meetings to discuss everything else. Works great for everybody!
