Western or World Civilizations?

Hello.
Next year, my Junior year, I plan to fulfill the World History requirement, but I have the option of taking Western Civilizations or World Civilizations.

Western Civ I and II cover from human origins to the 17th century and the 17th century to the modern era.
Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, Byzantium, Islamic civilizations, and Europe through the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Reformations. Absolutism and constitutionalism, growth of nation states, the Enlightenment, revolutions, classical liberalism, industrialization, imperialism, global conflict, the Cold War, and globalism.

World Civ I and II cover earliest culture to the 15th century and 15 century on.
Emergence of early societies, the rise of civilizations, the development of political and legal systems, religion and philosophy, economic systems and trans-regional networks of exchange. Maritime exploration and transoceanic empires, nation/state formation and industrialization, imperialism, global conflicts and resolutions, and global economic integration. The course emphasizes the development, interaction and impact of global exchange.

Any advice as to which one? I could also mix them up (eg. World I and West II) but I’m not sure if that would make sense.
Thanks

I’d pick Western Civ 1 and World Civil 2.
2 perspectives but some overlap.

What is more interesting to you? What teacher is better?

@bopper, I don’t yet know who the teachers will be.

@MYOS1634 Good idea!

Thanks, both
