USN&WR lists Wharton as #1 program for undergrad business. However, MIT and UCB Haas are tied as #2. Set your sights on Haas. My daughter is an undergrad there now. ahhh Bay area. Beautiful school on the UCB campus. Life doesn’t get much better than that. Beautiful school, beautiful climate. Only one school ranked higher. So much about it is lovable.
How is the undergrad program?
UC Berkeley is an amazing school in a wonderful area…I would love to attend there. I’ll definitely apply there, hopefully I’ll get accepted as it is pretty selective. You mentioned your daughter is an undergrad at Haas, could you maybe give some basic tips for acceptance? Thanks.
@Coffee2913 That’s the program I am talking about, tied for #2 in the nation. The class is small around 300 which is great. Classes are stellar and there are plenty of networking opps. tips to get in: you get in to UCB first. Be a top performer. Then you apply to Haas. Have leadership EC’s. If you go on their website, they give you what they are looking for: Student Always, Challenge the Status Quo, etc.
Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Regarding the undergrad program, I was asking about cost, student life, financial aid, etc. Does your daughter enjoy it a lot?
Besides, Hass, Stern, UMichigan’s Ross School, Babson Collge, McDonough School of Business - Georgetown University, Boston college, etc. All have good business education, and easier to get in.
^^^^^^not Hass, but Haas is tough to get into. Nothing easy about it. I woulnd’t put it in that group with Babson.
