Hey. Looking to transfer as a sophomore in college to Wharton.
Currently a high school senior.

applied to u.chicago, NYU(stern), brown, denied from Wharton ED

What school will give me the BEST education if I don’t make it to Brown?
I plan on going to wall-street.

On what basis do transfers occur? IS transferring into Wharton as a sophomore really that hard? What should I know about this process that is not told on the website? Is getting a 3.7+ by loading up on easy courses satisfactory for transfer? Should I use AP credit to transfer out of math requirement or should I stick with retaking Calc BC equivalent…Calc 104 and get an A? What needs to happen in order to make a transfer successful?

Depends on what you want to study. If you are looking at statistics alone, NYU and Michigan have the most external transfers into Wharton, but that might be simply because more people apply from there.

Does UChicago have a business program or an econ program? Assuming it has an econ program, it comes down to what you want to study - business(NYU) or econ(UChicago)?

What is more advantageous when it comes to getting a BIG time job at wall street?
What is more likely to raise my business aptitude and make me knowledgable?
I think the business major might better satisfy that although i applied for Econ major just because its the closest i can get to business major.

And my most important factor is respect. Which school would set me up for a job in i-banking world/hedge funds AND earn me a LOT of respect simultaneously? NYU(stern)? Chicago? Northwestern? Brown?

based on what everyone has written to me now and in the past, should i assume that there is a LARGE probability I will not be accepted as a TRANSFER because 1- attaining a GPA 3.7+ just to be competitive is very hard, 2 - I was denied admission Early Decision a couple of months ago, and 3- I had no business ECs in high school whatsoever (i.e. leadership positions)?

I don't think business EC's matter a lot. The big banks recruit in almost all the schools you have named. However, I would choose NYU amongst all these. However, I know that NYU has absolutely NO campus life. Factor that in.
