Wharton per favore

So, I was wondering like what else should I do to improve the chances for Wharton other than my really bad SAT scores which i expect to improve

Race: Chinese
Gender: Male
Country: Singapore, but studying overseas
School Type: Private International, Scholarship admission only (not that posh, just to give everyone a chance thats all, but it does sound good i think)
Legacy: None

IB Grades:
Economics: 7
Chemistry:6
Maths: 7
Biology: 7
English: 5
Italian Ab Initio: 5

Total: 37

Rank: None (school doesnt do that), although i would say i would be near the top/ upper average considering the courses i take in relation to the points that i have achieved

SAT 1's: 1960, 1980
M-780, 720
W-600,590
R-580, 670

Composite Score: 2050

SAT 2's:
Chinese: 780
Maths 2: 780

Extra-Curriculars:
Swimming, participated in national competitions in Singapore
NGO, Vice-President of NGO that operates out of school, its student set-up
Scouts (national and International representation at grades 8,9,10)
Internship at the government ministry where i helped out with alot of big events

Volunteerism:
over 200 hours of community service at grades 9,10
consistent volunteering for grade 11 (it should amount to alot!)

Summer:
Internship at Government, Turned down a internship at a Standard Chartered because it coincided with the Government internship, teaching a student in maths, various conferences on world economics and foreign policies during internship

You need like 200 more points at least on your SAT for that not to be a draw-back.

Also a job or internship in business would look really good.
No one can say for sure though because Wharton is extremely competitive.

Just bump those scores to 700+ if you can, but you’re an international, so don’t sweat it if you don’t… enlgish isn’t your first langauge so nobody is expecting an 800 CR from you.

I speak english as a first language, just that I am not used to the american system…That aside, is a 780 on math 2 too low? I understand that the 780’s that I got on chinese and math 2 appear to be low, if not average so…

Then IB wise, I got a 7 for maths and economics, so it might be of a help?

What is a average score or good score for both the IB and SAT’s if I am offering to pay it myself and I am currently not studying in Asia, so perhaps the regional difference might offer less competition?

780 is low? Stop being ridiculous.

well, it was sort of low in the school that I was in. But then again, I have the feeling that it is low for Wharton…

Is there anything that you can recommend that I boost the application, which I believe is meagre? I am paying for the full tuition, so I guess there is just that slight advantage.

that being said, am I still at like instant rejection?

it is good enough!! don’t worry

■■■. anything else that I could work on short of making a big ass donation to their library or something?

after the ED results have been out, anything else that you guys can add based on what happened at ED, like my chances?

80% of applicants with 800s on Math IIc get rejected. Same with Math I.

Think about that for a second.
