Any thoughts as to how feasible it is to get into one of the top law schools out of Wharton? I'm particularly interested in how common it is and what kind of performance it takes to make it happen.

Since I’m a freshman, I don’t know that many people who graduated last year or prior, but I know one person, through mutual friends, who had a joint degree from the College and from Wharton and who is now at Harvard Law in his second year.

Also, last year, some Wharton students who didn’t want to work after graduation did attend great law schools: http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/careerservices/wharton/surveys/Wharton2009Report.pdf

Best of luck!

Word on the street is law schools dislike super preprofessional degrees. That’s why Wharton offers a BS in Econ over a BBA. If you can keep your grades up (which is doable) you’ll probably have the same law school chances a your polysci friends.
