do you mean a Wharton undergrad vs a Wharton MBA

or a Wharton undergrad vs. an MBA from another school?

of course the MBA from another school, in the business world being smart is not everything, the MBA candidate will have more experience on top of more years of school so there. You have to remember a lot of MBA program require that their students to have work experiences.

MBA of course. Fresh college graduate will become IB analyst at most but most MBA graduate will become IB associate. So there you go.

yeah MBA, you can undergrad in most anything and get an MBA, what you do as an undergrad is kinda irrelevant... well not completely irrelevant, but well ya know... not as important

but i heard getting a wharton undergrad is LIKE getting a wharton MBA--they view it like that.

also, people say that by the time you reach the MBA stage with ur undergrad degree, you'll make more money than the MBA coming out

here's a survey of alumni career information up to 15 years after they went to wharton for their undergrad degree.

i think page 2 answers your question. only 35% of wharton undergrads will have an MBA 15 years later. interestingly, those with only a bachelor's from wharton actually make 140k more than those with bachelor's from wharton and then a MBA from another institution. the survey does not specifiy from where the MBAs were received, so I can't address your question about wharton undergrad vs. wharton undergrad+ Wharton MBA specificially.

my relatives who are alumni said that wharton undergrad gives you the education of an MBA spread over 4 years. you can also take MBA classes as an undergrad, which is pretty cool

great read ^
