I general, what kind of kids are they... how do they generally like teh school, etc...

Hi I see you are a student yourself, or will be @ Marist? Im a parent, but I will say that there is alot of school pride, you see a ton of Marist apparel being worn, and people attend the games, and get involved in the school in a big way. I have found the students to be realllllly nice, and helpful to an old person :). and generally very respectful and pleasant. They also are very committed to each other, and help with studying, partying and if rides are needed, or any other assistance. My son had 2 close friends get hurt this year @ school, and the outpouring of love, care and concern I saw was really great! (Of course them getting hurt wasnt great, but things happen).
I think there are enough different groups of people too that there will always be a like person to yourself, and not that the whole school thinks one way. It doesnt. Good luck to you and enjoy!

I am a sophomore at Marist now, and the people I’ve met here is what makes this school worth my while. Everyone goes into college looking to make friends and build relationships, and I’ve had such an easy time doing that here. Everyone I’ve met has been very genuine and sociable, its a fun and comforting student body to be apart of. And I am confident that the close friends that I have made will be my friends for years after college.
I think that because Marist is such a selective school, and everyone that goes here worked hard to get here, we all have a mutual respect for each other. We have different passions, we take our school work seriously, and we take advantage of the opportunities we’re offered, and that is what connects us all. We’re here to make something of ourselves, and we all support each other, but we’re also here to enjoy these four years. You’re going to have fun wherever you go, and that’s dependent upon the people you surround yourself with. I couldn’t of asked for better people to spend my college years with.
