What are my chances of getting into materials engineering?

3.50 GPA
1700 SAT

540 Reading, 540 Math, 620 Writing

Alot of extracurriculars and I have dedicated 25% of my work to Cal POly

If I score high on the november Sat such as an 1800, will they consider me for early decision?

Here are all the stats you need: [Prospective Students - Admissions - Cal Poly](<a href=“Cal Poly Admissions”>Cal Poly Admissions)

Also, the school PREFERS the ACT. You should take that exam as well. So, I would hire a tutor. The SAT figures are not superscored at Cal Poly. Read up on how they calculate it on their web site.

Good luck!

For Cal Poly SLO Engineering Program, its a high reach…

Like OsakaDad posted:

COLLEGE GPA ACT SAT1*
Engineering 4.01 31 1368
You … 3.50 – 1080

*NOTE: SAT1 math and reading scores only

Cal Poly Pomona also has a decent engineering program, you should look there as well.
