<p>What are my chances of getting into materials engineering?</p>

<p>3.50 GPA
1700 SAT</p>

<p>540 Reading, 540 Math, 620 Writing</p>

<p>Alot of extracurriculars and I have dedicated 25% of my work to Cal POly</p>

<p>If I score high on the november Sat such as an 1800, will they consider me for early decision?</p>

<p>Also, the school PREFERS the ACT. You should take that exam as well. So, I would hire a tutor. The SAT figures are not superscored at Cal Poly. Read up on how they calculate it on their web site.</p>

<p>Cal Poly Pomona also has a decent engineering program, you should look there as well.</p>
