So I’ve been taking cc classes since freshmen year in high school and the spring of 2019 I will get my AA and AS degree but the UC’s I applied to I didn’t get in. Therefore my backup plan was to take a gap year and transfer to a UC since I have my 60 credits (I know I have to take additional classes for my major in order to transfer) but I was wondering what my chances were to get into UCB UCSD, UCSB and UCLA with a transcript that had a few C’s and 1 or 2 failed classes. My transcript at cc wasn’t great because I didn’t handle doing high school and college at the same time very well but I’m working harder to get into a good school.
I got into UCSB & UCSD this year with a 3.17 GPA, I received a D in a math class (which I retook) & 3 C’s on my transcript. So don’t give up, anything is possible! Just do very well your next few semesters, especially in the classes for your major and you will definitely have a chance. UCs love upward trends! Best of luck to you
thank you so much!!
