Hi. I've always wanted to go to Columbia(Fu Foundation School of Engineering). My brother went to Columbia, and well...let's just say he did really well there(he was a track star, MVP for 4 years, got the Connie S. Manniaty Award). I'm a sophomore at a small, private Christian school(w/ Middle States accreditation).

My GPA so far is probably around a 3.8...
I got a 180 on the PSAT, but i'm gonna take it again.
I plan on taking 2-3 APs next year, as well as senior year.
I started & lead the Electronics Club, and I'm in a student Leadership position. I'm doing some college credit courses this summer and the next, and i have lots of volunteer hours at my church and a nursing home.
I teach guitar.
I'll be going on a trip to a foreign country with an organization that builds libraries and distributes books, called the Global Literacy Project. Plus, my brother has a program for shoes that i will be involved in.
I have and will continue to keep an archive of all my art, an electronics projects, and join competitions and stuff so i can win some awards.
I'm going to try to get an internship at my local radio station next year.

As for sports, I'm doing Track and Field + Basketball all 4 years. I also did Basketball in middle school, all 4 years.

So, if i end up being successful in getting all A's so i can bump my GPA up, do you think i have a chance? They've sent me a lot of emails about attending Columbia and invited me to their summer program as well...does that mean anything?
