Where would you apply? List the MATCH, SAFETY, REACH schools. I'll take any advice as to how to go about my summer and senior year if you have it. </p>
<p>South Asian Female, Junior, Looking for schools in NORTHEAST/MIDWEST, passionate about SCIENCE and wishes to major in pure, physical science</p>
<p>I realized that all my dreams will be shattered soon because a) my junior year and freshman year were super screwed up years b) the gold in my application (Sci Club, a club that I started and formed... led to many great things) is gone because I'm not being inducted if I cannot get a 95 4th quarter chem or 90/90 4th quarter/optional final... very embarrassing and awkward situation, I know. </p>
<p>I have some community service on my belt. I can do more. I have 1 year job experience. </p>
<p>I can talk about my involvement in the community and in community programs. </p>
<p>I can talk about Science Olympiad. I can run for the exec board next year. I cannot be ousted for my grades. </p>
<p>I participated in the JETS competition sophomore year. </p>
<p>I can talk about newspaper. I can get an editorial position next year.</p>
<p>I did French Honor Society and Amnesty.... kind of.</p>
<p>I danced... for two years... and maybe next year, too. </p>
<p>If I wanted to, I could bring up my failure in Science Club and then talk about how passionate I was for starting and running it as the President. This was supposed to be my gold. We invited scientists to our school and they gave lectures, etc. </p>
<p>I will try to do something interesting this summer like a program or work under a professor or my own research. </p>
