OH. P.S. Could someone help calculate my GPA? I would do it myself but there seems to be so many different ways online that I'm not sure how to do it accurately on my own.

bump??? :3
please??

Your freshman year uw. gpa is a 4.0 and your sophomore year one is a 3.86 from the way I think it’s supposed to be done. Each A is 4 points and each b is 3 points. You add up the points and divide by the amount of classes. Some people divide their overall average by 25 but I really don’t believe that is accurate.

I think your GPA and your course load is fine for those schools if you are still in the 10% of your class… just try to get 5 in AP exams or 4. Your SAT is still a little low for Harvard and Princeton, try to get a 2200+ (you have plenty of time) and that will work for the others you mentioned, too. You also need to take two SAT subjects and score well on them, possibly above 700. You did a lot of science things in your ECs and that’s very good, but I personally see a lack of leadership which is usually considered very important by those universities. You have two years, so make sure to be an active part of a club and maybe a VP or president or something like that.
I don’t know about Cambridge and Oxford, they probably require different things. I read somewhere that you need to take A LOT of SAT subjects to be competitive with the English pool. Find out and see if you can manage this.
The universities you have chosen are the most reach of the country and their admissions are so random sometimes. You seem qualified, but a lot of qualified applicants are rejected every year by those schools. What I can suggest to you is to try your best in this year and apply the next one and just see how it goes! Pick up also some more affordable schools where you would like to go, just in case  Good luck!

Thank you!!! I do plan on retaking the SATs ^.^
What is considered a lot of SAT II tests? I was planning on taking the MathII and Chemistry as well. How many more should I try to do?

Two SATs will be fine for American universities like Princeton and Harvard. I don’t know a lot about English requirements but I know that English students take Alevels during high school, so American students have to take the same number of A level in APs exams or SAT II (especially APs)
Anyway I don’t know much about this topic, so you need to find out something more in another way :)
