what are my chances at columbia?

<p>Hi everyone. I just visited columbia on thursday and absolutely LOVED it!!! So i was just wondering what my chances are? should I even get my hopes up?</p>

<p>I am a Coucasian female from a competative school in Massachusetts.</p>

<p>SATI: M-680; V-690; WR-610 (will take it again to raise math and writing scores)
SAT II: Chem-720; USHist - 750
AP's so far: USHist - 4; Chem - 5; Bio - 5</p>

<p>Over the 3 years, I took all honors classes and 3 aps so far. Senior year, I am taking 6 more ap classes (thats gonna b a killer...hehe)</p>

<p>Some of my ecs:
Tennis - 9,10,11,12; Captain 12th grade -- I also play in the NOrthshore League
Sudanese Refugee Assimilation Support - 11,12; Co-founder and secretary
Theater - 9,10,11,12; Director of a play 10th grade; costumer 11th grade.
Singing and Piano - since I was 7 years old
National Honors Society
National Spanish Honors Society
250+ hours of volunteering over the four years
I have also worked at a daycare program and now have an internship at a local newspaper -- The Homesteader
I have won awards in tennis and theater, as well as community service.
I have also won the National Spanish Exam awards.</p>

<p>GPA class rank?</p>

<p>oh right, sorry. somehow I forgot two of the main components :).
GPA: uw -- 3.80; w- 4.3
Class Rank: technically my school does not rank anymore...but my councelor told me that I am approx. in the top 5% of my class.</p>

<p>oh im also russian: i was born in russia and therefore, I speak 2 languages fluently (russian and english) and i have been taking spanish for 6 years...so that one is good too. I also took french. could all that be any help?</p>

<p>sats are a bit low..i know someone who was rejected with 1500+(old sat),footballstar etc. but raise them up and you def have a chance. if your fluent in three languages that looks really good.</p>
