I just finished my sophomore year and Cornell has been the school i really want to get into, but i didn’t do too well this year.My freshmen year grade was a 92 and i went down to an 89 as a sophomore, making my cumulitive gpa about a 3.7 I think. I just want to know what are my chances of getting in if I do amazing as a junior and a senior and i do well on SAT’s. I am in all honors classes and at the top 6% of my class. I will be taking a minimum of 2 AP Courses next year and hopefully 3 or more as a Senior. I’m on my school varsity swim team, school government, and in National Honors Society. I have been taking taekwondo for 10 years and i am a blackbelt. I also have been taking piano for 5 years. My volunteer work includes volunteering at a hospital, tutoring, teaching kids teakwondo, and helping out at my local religious center. I know my grades are not the highest right now, but I am planning on a big change as a junior. How may I improve my chances of getting into Cornell? and what are my chances as of right now? Thank you for your time and i would really appreciate any response.
The grades were unweighted. Weighted grade as a freshmen was a 95.5 and sophomore year is a 94
