I am a Highschool senior. I have a 3.8 Weighted GPA and have completed 7 college classes total and will have completed around 14 classes after I graduate. I have a ACT superscore of 23 but have been busting my tail for weeks to prepare for the upcoming one in September. I participate in School Sports including 4 yrs of golf and 1 year of soccer. I’m in Beta, NHS, SGA (Class Treasurer) and will be in Phi Theta Kappa (honors club through my local college) because my college GPA is 3.79 unweighted. I have helped kids at a Type one Diabetes camp because I am Diabetic myself. Overall FSU is my dream school because it’s only an hour away from home. What are my chances?
TBH I think you’re super cute
Your GPA is good but you need to work on your ACT score. Have you considered taking the SAT? Some people do better on one test than the other. Also I would recommend applying early/ to the first application deadline.
Doing the upcoming SAT and the ACT. I’ve done practice test out of my practice ACT book and I’ve done a lot better but preforming under stress during the actual test is something entirely different. Any tips on doing better on the ACT and how to do well on the SAT?
Pretty sure FSU superscores (but check) - if so prep as much as possible and take the ACT/SAT as much as possible to get your scores up. Hopefully the superscoring will take some pressure off and reduce test anxiety. Grades look good, and strong admit if you can move your test scores up.
