Hi All,
I am a sophomore in high school. I want to go to Northeastern University for Premed because it is close to home. I haven’t taken the SATs or ACTs yet. Looking ahead, I will most likely end up with a 4.0-4.5 weighted GPA and a class rank of 50-100 out of 300 people in my class. Due to my interest in medicine, I am taking anatomy this year in school along with chemistry. I am planning to take 4 AP’s by the end of high school. I am hoping to get in the NHS chapter this year in my high school. I have only volunteered at a nursery home this past summer for about 100 hours. I am hoping to do a program the summer of my junior year to shadow doctors (Gap Medics). I have close to no extracurricular activities outside of school. I am in Anatomy club, science olympiad, badminton club, and Brainbee competition. I have a lot of pressure to get into Northeastern from my family. Also, my dad is a associate professor of health sciences at Northeastern. Will this aid me in getting in? Thanks
I’d have to say that your chances lie between 0%-100%.
