I am a junior at a Texas high school and will graduate in May of 2016. My absolute dream is to start attending the University of Oklahoma in the fall of 2016. I sent in my application on August 1st but they didn’t get my transcripts until August 14th. I am really involved in my community, I get all A’s in my honors classes and my dual credit college classes, and I do various service and volunteer opportunities. My GPA is a 95.222, I am ranked 24th out of 65 at my high school, my highest ACT is a (low) 23, and my SAT is (another low) 1590. My essay is really good and I have had a lot of contact with admission advisors. I’m wanting to major in Special education if that makes a difference. It’s August 27th now and I’m just wondering what my chances are at getting in and how much longer it would be until I got a letter! Thank you!!
It think you should be fine, look here:

My D will also be a 2016 Texas high school graduate applying to OU. Her school won’t release transcripts until mid-September so she hasn’t been rushing to get her application in. I not sure how long they take to process applications.
You’ll get in
Your chances are OK. Your GPA is a little higher than average, your ACT and SAT are a little low. OU has a very high admission rate so I doubt they will turn you down.
