What are my chances at Harvard, MIT, JHU?

I’m a high school junior. My current match/reach schools are Harvard, MIT, GaTech, and Johns Hopkins.

Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): none really. I have valedictorian in the bag and maybe some swim awards.

Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis):

Here’s the thing about asking for chances at Harvard: it attracts very ambitious, talented students. They tend to have superstar stats AND something else (often several 'something else’s.

You are clearly a big fish in your pond: that you have valedictorian ‘in the bag’ after just 2 years suggests that there isn’t much competition from your classmates, and since you obviously had an A in AP chem class but only got a 3 on the exam, it suggests that the academic standards aren’t great. Your SAT is low relative to the hyper-competitive pool, and your EC list looks that of a good all-round student- but not more than that.

But: that’s a list, and your post gives no context. Why do you think that Harvard or MIT or JHU are the schools for you?
