Johns Hopkins
Georgetown
George Washington University
Vanderbilt

What are my chances at these schools ? Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

Forgot to mention National Honor Society.

Bump!!
I'd really like to go to Johns Hopkins or Vanderbilt... But I'm worried that my GPA is too low... Does anything else in my profile balance that out ? Or am I not likely to get in at all ?

Thanks!!!

Bump!

C'mon guys.. I could really use some opinions.. Is it that I suck too bad for all the schools that I'm trying to get to and nobody has the heart to tell me that?
Please don't hesitate to break it to me, I can take it...
THANKS.

You're GPA/rank is a bit low for most of these schools, but everything else does look good. Anyway...

UNC Chapel Hill-match
Duke-reach
Wake Forest-match
Johns Hopkins-reach
Georgetown-reach
George Washington University-match
Vanderbilt-slight reach

You'll most likely get into GW and UNC. The others you have a chance at, but nothing too certain. Good luck.

You remind me very much so of myself (except ethnicity, gender, and slightly higher grades), so I will chance you. If you're school is as competitive as mine, that rank and gpa should be fine for most of the colleges you are applying it, despite the fact that they would be low for any normal school. You're extra curriculars look great.

UNC Chapel Hill-match
Duke-reach (still a good chance though with your ecs)
Wake Forest-match
Johns Hopkins-reach
Georgetown-reach
George Washington University-match
Vanderbilt-low reach

Chance me back if you will:

i will tell you that vanderbilt will ABSOLUTELY love you. their reps have stopped by my school a couple times and they really stress how strength of schedule is extremely important. they say its the #1 thing they consider in an application.
ive applied there ED so im getting awful nervous right about now

Your class rank hurts a litte, and a weak gpa, your test scores are where they should be, but since you go to a touch high school...your asian and vandy wants more diversity so you might be admitted, I don't know...

My situation is the same, South Asian(Indian), 3.8 Unweighted gpa, rank-top 20 percent, Sat Score - 2170, 1470 reading and math, and I am applying to Duke, Vanderbilt, maybe Georgetown too, good luck....

Make sure your essays are strong....Would help increase your chances of getting in....
