What are my chances at PENN? :P

Hello everyone! As of now I am a Sophmore attending a unknown HS in Manhattan, NY. :8 I would like to know my chances at Penn based on the stats given here.

right now i only have 1 ap class next year I will have 3 of them.
AP world (plan on getting atleast a 4.. maybe a 5 if i am lucky)
Ec:

Volunteering at Pharmacy +60 hrs so far
I am in the Prestigious Science Research program. (I will be in this class for 3 years) Takes ALOT of time.

I have not taken any SATs or SAT II's or even the ACT. Another convoluted fact is that I have gotten a 65 in spanish :( in freshman yr. Right now i am getting an A in spanish... So hopefully the 65 will be ignored.

Can someone please tell me what I must improve to stand a chance against Penn. How well must I do on the SAT, SAT II, and the ACT to prove to the admissions office that I am serious about my education.

Thanks for taking time to read my crudy stats :-| . Please help me understand what I must do for PENN.

I think your GPA could be raised. Try to raise the acumulative higher. =] You're right 3.7 is a bit low. But you're EC's seem great. I'd try for a 3.85+ at least. Shouldnt' be too hard. put time into it. ANd.. I'd say.. maybe try to get a 2200+ at least. And you'd be competitive for Penn. Take a lot of practice and study tests for SAT. Good luck =]

You might want to try for more honors. From what I've heard, those first two don't really mean anything.

LOL!!! Funny man. Almost everyone who takes the PSATs gets invited. All you need is money. I tossed the junk the second I saw it. Sorry man, how much was it? $80 to buy the national honor roll book? 4000 for the who's who? Hahah that is the price of a decent used car man...

LoL aruubato.. I knew those awards were common but not that common! So what do you suggest? Should I even list those or try to earn something more prestigious and special?

Ps. I did not take the Psat :)

thank you protege for those suggestions. GPA isn't a big deal but the SAT is... I heard it is really tough! Nonetheless, I have started to study for it. I hope that one year of studying will earn me at least around 2100.. 2200 sounds very high :0 ...
What about the ACT? I have taken some sample tests and I think it is way easier than the SAT. Does it matter to Penn what you send in (the ACT or SAT) ?

Anyway, All i know is that the admissions are very furtive! Anyone has a chance of making it if everything they have is average!

Bumppppppppp :</p>

Big reach. Not an impossible reach, but a big reach.
