Would great essays really help my chances? I know my SATs/SATIIs are not that great but would it be the Achilles heel for my chances? Will they look at my writing scores differently because the breakdown for my 2nd test, I had subscore of 68 as opposed to 63 on my 3rd test; for my 2nd test I had a writing sample subscore 61 as opposed to writing subscore 72 on my 3rd. I had a bad test day during December SAT IIs (chem 590, latin 630, and writing 670) For grades I have As and Bs. My last semester of junior year I had 3 Bs, 2As, and 1 A-. Prior to that I had 1 B, 2 B+s and rest were As. Do I have a shot?
