University of Michigan
Michigan State University
University of Minnesota
University of Nebraska
Northwestern University
Ohio State University
Pennsylvania State University (legacy)

Alrighty, so we have very similar stats. Here are your chances:

University of Illinois - Accept
Indiana University - Accept
University of Iowa - Accept
University of Michigan - Deny? (maybe, I’m not sure.)
Michigan State University - Accept
University of Minnesota - Accept
University of Nebraska - Accept
Northwestern University - Deny
Ohio State University - Accept
Pennsylvania State University (legacy) - Deny (but legacy might help)
Purdue University - Accept
University of Wisconsin (instate) - Accept

Hope this helps! Please look at my chances thread

You’ll get into most, probably.

@MirandaMcGuire: Can I ask why you think I would be denied from Penn State? Based on admission statistics alone, you have me as accepted to more selective universities than PSU.

@twirlergirl42 Well, I may be wrong but I was under the impression that Penn State is pretty hard to get into. I think I thought UPenn accidently when I was giving you your chances! My bad!

No problem! Thank you for clarifying!

Northwestern would be reach. UMich would be low reach for engineering, very high match for LSA. UIUC engineering would be low reach too. The rest should be match to high match.

Would I have a better chance at UIUC in a different program? I’m still not sure what I want to do.

For UIUC, you apply directly to a major. UIUC Engineering has a mid 50 ACT of 31-34. For LAS, it would be a few points lower except for a few competitive programs like ChemE and Computer Sciences.
