You're looking smartly - at programs strong in your major.

Are you in-state at Michigan or Wisconsin? Did you apply already? Were you deferred there? Michigan and Wisconsin are nearly the same in admissions, so if you get in one, you're likely to get in at the other.

Your grades are low as well as test scores against your competition at Michigan and Wisconsin. I don't think you're going to be awaiting an acceptance, unless your grades senior year are great. Look for a deferral at both places, and your senior year grades will either shift it to an acceptance, or a rejection.

Indiana is a FANTASTIC business school. It's #11 in the country, #2 in the Big 10, and you should be able to get in, with possibly some scholarships there. Penn State is a great business school to. Basically, you can't go wrong with Big 10 business, as all are ranked in the top 25 for business.

Okay, I just read you were from Ohio. It would be stupid not to apply to Ohio State, it's a fantastic school, and tuition is a bargain for you. Make sure your school of choice is strong in your major of choice. I live in Ann Arbor, I know hatred for OSU. And even I considered the school, and my guidance counselor told me it'd be the perfect fit for me. (But I didn't apply, haha). Apply there as a backup plan, shoot for upper tier business schools (not UM and UW, they are reaches for you).

Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota, OSU, PSU, and MSU would be schools i'd recommend for you.

One thing to mention is that while I agree basically 100% with the above poster, is Michigan and Wisconsin calculate GPA differently. Michigan treats + and -'s different AND drops freshmen year. Therefore, two students with similar weighted stats might have different results. Also, class rank is huge for both.

Is a reach. According to their website percentages, you have about a 50% chance of admittance. I wouldn't say it's a match, 50-50 chances aren't a match.

And I don't think Michigan's chances are any better. UM GPA far too low for an OOS applicant. Likely around 25% there.
