What are my chances at these top colleges? Will chance back!

Hey guys I'm currently a junior in High School and I wanted to start planning ahead for college and determine what I need to do in these last 2 years.

GPA (Weighted): 5.6/6.0
GPA (Unweighted): 4.0/4.0
Rank: 7/600
SAT: 1800 (Took it once without studying (2 hrs sleep the night before), aiming for 2200 in November)
ACT: Haven't taken yet

Race: Asian (Male)
Income: Around 80k
School: Public High School

Awards: Freshmen MVP for swimming, A Honor Roll (every semester)
Athletics: Varsity Swim 2 years (Regional Qualifier both years)

APs: AP World History (4) (Taking many more this year and next)
Junior Courseload: AP Calc AB, AP Physics 1, AP English, AP US History, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science. Anatomy and Physiology of Human Systems

ECs:

-National Honor Society , Historian (10th & 11th grade)
-FBLA (10th & 11th grade) (will have leadership next yr)
-Class Council , Secretary (11th grade)
-Key Club, Student Representative (10 &11 grade) (Expected president next yr)
-Environmental Club (9,10,11 grade)
-Changemakers (10 & 11 grade)
-UNICEF club (11th grade) (Expected president next yr)
-Student Council (11th grade) (Expected president next yr)
-National Technical Honor Society (11th grade) (Expected president next yr)

Volunteering:
-I volunteer throughout my community doing mostly everything I can find. I really enjoy giving back to the community and helping it in any way I can. Do it for my own enjoyment rather than specifically for college apps (a lot of kids I know hate volunteering but do it for college app) (Aiding Homeless Shelters, Food Drives, Walks and Marathons for Alzheimers and Cancer, etc) (300 hrs)

I am also a local youth referee during the weekends and lifeguard over the summers.

I'm also looking to start a club this year (I enjoy volunteering domestically as well as helping others internationally), any suggestions?

I also plan on majoring in something business related. Possibly finance, business management, or international business? But that list is subject to change.

Potential College List:
-NYU Stern
-Columbia
-UChicago
-UT Austin (Mccombs honors)
-Stanford
-USC
-Carnegie Mellon
-UCLA
-Wharton
-Cal Berkeley

What other colleges should I add?

What are my chances and how accurate is my list?
I will chance back!

Your SAT score is low, I would definitely try and bump your grade up when you take it in November :)

You have a good amount of AP tests and nice EC’s, but I noticed most of the ECs were only for a year or two. Keep those up in your senior year and it will look better, like you are more committed to them long-term.

Your GPA is fantastic. Congrats on a 4.0!

Only correction I see, never phrase it like this on an application “I volunteer throughout my community doing mostly everything I can find. I really enjoy giving back to the community and helping it in any way I can.” as there is nothing specific about it. “Aiding Homeless Shelters, Food Drives, Walks and Marathons for Alzheimers and Cancer, etc” is much better.

I think if you keep things up your senior year, raise your SAT score (and consider taking the ACT) you have a very good shot. Keep up with your ECs too, colleges like commitment over a period of years.

Hmm. You look like one of those people with a “packed” resume but no personality. Being President of that many clubs might actually give this bad impression. Volunteering is your strong point. Also, you’re an asian male, so with those scores, you’d probably just get cut immediately unless your essay is ridiculously good. chance back? <a href=“Predict Me: Columbia, MIT, Yale, Carnegie Mellon and others - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1688565-predict-me-columbia-mit-yale-carnegie-mellon-and-others-p1.html</a></p>

You’re gonna need a higher sat score
Otherwise you’re a star student
You should aim for a 2300 I think you could do that

Ranked 7 with a GPA of 5.6 in a public high school? May I ask how you even got that GPA if the only AP class you took is AP World History? I am sorry; it just seems weird to me.

At my school we have pre-ap which weighs as much as AP on the weighted scale so I took like all pre-ap classes freshmen and sophomore year

increase your SAT scores…your school record is outstanding…EC’s are generic, but good…work as much on your essay as you can…if u can do that you have a decent shot at some of these I would say…though Stanford,Wharton, etc are reaches for almost everybody

chance me if you feel like http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1701839-chance-me-will-chance-back.html#latest</a></p>
