What are my chances at: Stanford, Columbia, MIT, UPenn, Johns Hopkins, Harvey Mudd, Pomona College, UCLA, UCB, UCSD and bs/md program at UCSD or USC?

thanx in advance ^^

anyone??? please????

bumpbumpbump :(

I'd say you have a shot at all of them, except Stanford, Columbia, MIT may be a further reach. If you were applying I would leave some of the stuff out, such as Boat Race and student of the month.

Leadership and community service is wonderful.
Your GPA may hurt your alittle, but that depends on what you rank compared to your class. Top 1-5% is good.

Also Stanford and MIT are looking for hard course loads, such as alot of college level and IB/AP classes, about 15 classes is a good number on average.

k thanx.. anymore?

bumpbumpbump~

You would likely make the academic review at any of the schools you have down there. The problem would be the holistic review. This is when they match your ECs and hooks against what the colleges need and against who else has a similar profile. Your references, your essays and how you shine out would then determine whethe you get in, or someone with a similar resume. This is why admissions to the most selective schools is such a crapshoot.

blah_blah:

Stanford: Reach
Columbia: Reach
MIT: Reach
UPenn: Slight Reach
Johns Hopkins: Match
Harvey Mudd: Safe Match
Pomona College: Safe Match
UCLA: Safe Match
UCB: Safe Match
UCSD: Safety
USC: Safe Match

*UCSD: Safety

Not for the BS/MD program...I'd say that that one is a definite reach. Its extremely competitive.

well imho, bs/md programs are hard to say chances wise--best bet is to apply and find out

wow.. pomona and harvey mudd are safety matches? my guess was that they would be more of reaches. considering they are top liberal arts colleges. hmm...

bump........

:( bump... i need more replies
--edit---
oh yeah by the way.. i got 800 for SAT II Bio M!! yes!
