<p>I'm applying early decision, btw.</p>
<p>GPA: 3.6 (weighted)
SATs: 2040 (UF doesn't count the new writing portion, so technically a 1340)
ECs:
- Burnett Honors College Summer Institute (computer programming course at UCF)
- 100+ volunteer hours
- city league basketball
- sophomore retreat group leader
- possibly student gov. representative (50/50 chance I'll get elected)
- freshman year science Olympiad winner
- there's something else I don't remember, but I don't think it was anything major
Legacies:
- father, sister, brother-in-law, two uncles, aunt, and grandfather all attended UF
- great uncle is former Dean of Agriculture</p>
<p>are you joking about your stats on this post, too?</p>
<p>"are you joking about your stats on this post, too?"</p>
<p>What??</p>
<p>Nah, this post isn't a joke, those are my real stats.</p>
<p>...not that they're outrageous or anything.</p>
<p>just wondering, why do you keep asking for your chances to UF?</p>
<p>What's your UNWEIGHTED GPA?</p>
<p>I say they're good. Your SAT's a fine, not good enough for honors but they're ok for just college entrance. You're GPA is really low for a weighted GPA, but it could be higher because they reweigh it anyways once your apply...besides, if you're a legacy child, then they'll look the other way. I say you're chances are pretty good.</p>
