<p>Hey I'm just wondering how confident I should be with getting into College Park. I realllly want to go there; it's definitely my top choice.</p>
<p>My GPA is 3.64 unweighted, 3.86 weighted
Regular SAT score is 1270, plus writing it's 1940.
I'm in some EC's.. I played field hockey for four years, I was in this thing called PLOOM for three years, I had a job junior year and now again senior year, I did volunteer work last year and some of this year. A few others but nothing huge.</p>
<p>Oh and I'm in-state. And I'm applying on Monday so It'll all be in for the Dec. 1st priority deadline.</p>

<p>test scores are probably fine - but what is the break down?
UMD says that "rigor of secondary school record" is important, so how many AP's and/or honors/high level classes have you taken?
essay might also be a factor, but I'd say you have a pretty good chance</p>
<p>I took a few honors classes and I'm taking AP English this year. And I've had like 5 or 6 people read and edit my essay so I think that's finally perfect.</p>
