<p>I hate to do this, but here goes:</p>

<p>G.P.A. 3.4
Courseload: 6 AP's by the end of high school
SAT I: 1340/1600 and 1990/2400 (CR:690, M:650, W:650)
SAT II: Bio M:730, US History:I, Math I:610
Interview: Absolutely excellent
Essay: It was the most heartfelt, personal thing I've ever written. My guidance councilor called it an amazing tribute. It was about my best friend who died in September and how he changed my life.
Recommendations: Excellent
EC's:VP of the Class of 2009, VP of NHS, VP of Student Council, President of Symphonic Band, Band/Student Government Lead Baritone in A-Capella, Second Chair Trombone Jazz Band for Four Years, Tutored a dyslexic child, Varsity Swimmer, Won Acting Awards in my Sophomore Year, Member of the International Thespian Troupe, Lead Trombone in Pit Orchestra, Pep Band, Academic Decathalon</p>

<p>wow, you seem extremely involved, but whats with the LOW GPA?</p>

<p>I should clarify 3.4/4.0</p>

<p>I took a lot of AP's. I took too many in fact, and learned my lesson by getting less than stellar grades last quarter junior year. But, my midyear grades brought my gpa up to a 3.55!</p>
