<p>Get the CR up. I’m in the same boat with Columbia, with a 630 CR. Other than that, being URM, good GPA, ECs will help a lot. A Colombian friend of mine got in SCEA this fall with a 34 ACT and not nearly as many ECs.</p>

<p>I agree–try and improve that CR score. Is English your first language? If not, maybe you could see about taking TOEFL.</p>

<p>Is being Brazilian a URM? Brazilians (as I understand it) are not Hispanic, because their native language/culture is not Spanish. However, I could be wrong. Is there a Latino URM status? If so, who all does it include?</p>
