BUMP
One more thing, I take around 10 Honors courses, my school does not provide AP courses; however, our curriculum is pretty the same as AP classes.
I like your admission chances a lot. That’s not the issue. You actually posted two chance threads, and in the other one you mentioned your need for financial aid. You should do research (here on CC, on the Dension website) to see if the school gives aid to international students.
@Hapworth Sorry for posting two threads, the website just lagged. And yes, I have emailed them and checked the website they do meet 100% of the need of all admitted students, and they do not include loans for international students; however, the competition must be very rigorous for a school like this even if it has nearly 40% acceptance. I have been considering Gettysburg and I would really appreciate your opinion if you know anything about these two schools.
Admission is probably fine with that gpa, though test scores could help fill out the portfolio, depending on how much experience Denison has with admissions from your home country.
Are you saying you need financial – need-based aid – to attend? Or merit award, based on your application, and not your financial situation? Denison is generous with merit based aid, but I don’t have information how that may play out with international students.
Run the Net Price Calculator on the school website to get a clearer picture of the likely financial situation.
Hi guys,

Stats: GPA 3.91-4.0/4.0, my school does not weight GPA.
Took the IELTS: 7.5 overall.
EC’s: ISEF finalist, and other fairs. Head of human resources in several NGO’s. Yale African young scholar participant, Editor in a scientific team publication. Self-studied German got A1.
I’m really concerned as I need a huge aid to attend.
I know my chances are pretty low, but anything can help.
Thank you all in advance,
One of the admission councelor’s informed me that the average financial aid award for international is in the range of 30k; However, he told me we are committed to meet 100% if got accepted. He also mentioned that if I’m paying >10k it becomes extremely competitive.
My ed list are conn coll, Bates, gettysburg, and denison.
@“Eslam Gamal” did you get into any of them? As an international student did you receive a good aid/100 need met?
I’m applying for the fall of 2018.
How can you have four schools on your ED list? Unless things have changed recently, by applying ED, you are committing to that school if they accept you. What happens if two or more schools accept you?
I’m not applying to four I’m just choosing.
