what are my chances for Cornell and Georgetown after a great junior year

Hi, I'll be a senior this upcoming year and have applied to these schools. Here's my Stats, I guess you could say.

Comments: My middle school teachers screwed me royally by putting me in low Social studies and English class, so that took me two years to work out.

ACT: 33
SAT Subject test: Bio-770
SAT Subject test: literature- 780

Please be honest, I won't be offended. I realize my chances are limited

Well, what’s your overall rank? And your ECs are severely lacking.

bump…

How in the world did you pass 52 other students in class rank? Even with your grades being weighted, did none of them take any APs? That seems a bit odd to me…

Your chances at both Cornell and Georgetown are minimal. Both “recommend” three years of a foreign language - the reality is that they expect at least three years unless there are unavoidable scheduling obstacles (such as a high school only offering two years). You only have two years of Spanish and apparently struggled to complete that.

It is interesting that you make a special point of commenting on your middle school teachers. That does not reflect well on your acceptance of personal responsibility. Ironically, your having overcome and achieved success despite those teachers does reflect well on you. You definitely do not want to include any negative references to teachers (or excuse making generally) on your college applications.
