What are my chances for Cornell CAS ED and RD? Havent decided which yet - I would rlly appreciate it

School Type: Public Magnet – top 3 in state
GPA (unweighted) : 3.96 (I think)
GPA (Weighted) : 4.6 something
ACT: 33 (35 E 35 M 33 R 30 S) – will retake
SAT IIs : Math 2: 760 - will retake, and will be taking physics
AP Scores: Calc AB: 5 Lang: 4 US Gov: 5 (physics 1 physics 2 and world were 3 - not submitting these)
Senior Year Course Load: AP Calc BC AP Environmental Science AP Literature and Composition AP Macro Economics AP Micro Economics Engineering Design and Development Honors Band and Orchestra General PE (I need the last two in order to graduate)

ACTIVITIES:
Shri Satya Sai Organization (2015), Bangalore, India
Aided optometrists in the medical screening of 250 underprivileged children. My duties included assisting with the screening and patient record keeping
Adventist Health Care Center (2 hours per week, 2013-2014), Rockville, Maryland
Restocked medical supplies, addressed patient requests and needs, and filled out nurses’ charts. Also ensured the visitor areas were clean and organized.
Junior Tennis Instructor, Quince Orchard Swim and Tennis Club (1.5 – 3 hours per week, 2012-2014)
Taught children age 4-6, the fundamentals of tennis. Assisted the head coach with running various drills, preparation and clean up for each lesson, and distributing program related information to participants and their parents.
Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Bike Loaner Program (4 hours per week, 2013)
In charge of the Bike Loaner Program at the visitor’s center. Maintained records bike sign outs, advised tourists on safety measures when touring the canal, and repaired bikes when needed. Also provided directions and guidance to tourists as requested.
2016 Piedmont Environmental Award $1000 - Money is currently being used to conduct research on automating bee hive inspection and treatment

You have stellar grades and test scores (unsure why you would retake that subject test). Your passion and personality really shines through your ECs but I would try to organize and cut down that list. Definitely an above average/fair shot. I’ll also be applying to Cornell CAS, best of luck to you and hopefully we will both be in Cornell’s class of 2021!

I think you have a very good shot at Cornell, especially with ED, as their selection rate is above 20%. One thing I would suggest is cutting down that ECs list, narrow it down to the most important things that you did over a long period of time. Also, I would not suggest retaking that subject test, there really is no difference between a 760 and 800
