Hello! I am a current senior and i’m applying to Duke ED and a few other schools. Please chance me~

A little about me, I am an Asian girl studying in one of the “top” districts of NC. Our school is considered one of the more competitive school in NC. I dont have a lot of spectacular awards, although my course load during junior year is considered extremely competitive. Most students take 4-5 APs at most here. Oh and idk if it matters at all, but my mom works at Duke as a researcher.

I’m also a senior. You have such a good record! So many different accomplishments. And your AP scores are much more and better than were mine last year. The only thing is that I really don’t know much about Duke admissions, but you sound pretty stellar to me. i also go to a relatively competitive high school, so I have friends who are like you and I’m sure there will be people like you applying to Duke as well. If you stand out in the essays you write then I think you have a good chance. Sounds like you could get into any of the others you listed, too. Good luck :slight_smile:

Aw thank you so much! I took a look at your post as well… YOU LOOK AMAZING! I heard that Cornell cares a lot about class rank and course selections, and I’m sure they will really like that you kept up your rigor (a few college administers said that this was super important too :smiley: )!! so I wouldn’t worry too much about Stat.
Idk how many APs students in your class usually take at your school, but if three is considered a lot, then i’m assuming your rank is pretty high?? If not, then it might be a little hard getting in; however your scores are most definitely good enough, and as long as you maintain your grade (at least through first semester xD) and write an amazing essay, I’d say you have a pretty great chance!!

I think you have an excellent shot. Apply ED to increase your chances even more.
