your chances of admission into ucsd is definitely going to be competitive. luckily for you, being in the cosmos certainly gives you some edge over other applicants. your sat score is somewhat average and falls into the median range of those who were accepted if you look at some stats on the collegeboard website. also, your gpa isn’t bad, and you have decent participation in your school with regards to being editor-in-chief. i think if you want to be a stronger candidate for admission, you should probably do some community service and volunteer. also, if you’re eligible for ELC (eligibility in the local context- top 4% in your school, but i think only in CA), you definitely have a very very very good chance of getting in. you also might want to think about possibly retaking the sat I or sat II, but i think you still have a good chance of getting in with your current scores. good luck! also could you please chance me? thanks

ummmm. the no community service is going to hurt you a LOT. your GPA seems very good for UCSD, and the SATs are pretty average (although I would try and bump up Math2 if you can get the chance to retake it)
you also dont have amazing and extensive ECs. dig through stuff in your brain- I’m SURE you did other notable ECs in high school, find them and write them down. if you write good essays, i think UCSD = a low reach for you
chance me back if you have time? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/736548-chance-me-top-schools-ivies.html
