What are my Chances for SDSU and CSULB

Hi! I’m applying for Fall 2021 and was wondering about my chances for both. Thanks!

Demographics: Asian Female, In-State but not local at any

Major: Undeclared at SDSU and Criminal Justice at CSULB

CSU GPA: 3.82

CSULB Index: Not sure if it’s calculated with weighted grades but my weighted is 4399 and my unweighted is 4232. Math: 3 Bs, 2 B+s, 1 A/ English: 1 B, 1 B+, 4 A-s (2 APs) (My school counts pluses and minuses the same as the letter)

APs: 2 in junior year (5 in Psych, 3 in Lang)

SAT: Test optional but got an 1180 (signed up for retake but couldn’t bc of covid)

ECS: about 20 hours a week (varsity sports, club sports, club, volunteer)

Average CSU GPA for CSULB Criminal Justice in 2019 for a non-local was 3.99. You are within range but not a solid Match.

For SDSU, your CSU GPA is below the campus average of 3.96 but again within range. Also not a solid match and Undeclared is a popular applied major with a 45% acceptance rate.

Make sure you have a safety school (local CSU?) on your list and best of luck.
