Hi! I am a senior in high school. I am an international student from China but currently studying in a private school in Massachusetts. I really like the vibe of Liberal Arts schools and really appreciate inclusion so I selected Smith and Bryn Mawr as my possible TOP(ED I) choices.
Intended Major(s)
I do not have any intended majors but have an interest to STEM program (like computer science, physics, engineering or even STEM related Econ). I think I’m gonna apply for undecided.
GPA, Rank, and Test Scores
- Unweighted HS GPA: 3.76(but 3.5 for junior bluhhh) But my school don’t calculate GPA. I calculated it with reliable online tool.
- Weighted HS GPA (incl. weighting system): 4.11
- ACT/SAT Scores: No SAT scores
Coursework
Since I am an international, I did not study a third language. I was in AP Calc BC, AP Chem and AP Physics2 in sophomore year and in AP CS:A, AP Stats and AP PhysicsC: Mechanics in junior year. And I am going to be in AP lit and AP bio for my senior year. Despite the rigor of my classes, my grades are not that good for the APs especially on junior year(B for stats and B+for cs). Since I only took five classes on Junior year, the grades turns out not really good. I scored 5 on AP Microecon and Stats and 4 on Calculus BC. The rests are all three.

Schools
I am thinking about doing ED1 for either Smith or Bryn Mawr and ED2 for Mount Holyoke. Smith is like a high reach and Mount Holyoke is a high target so I think it would be balanced. I don’t know if it is reasonable to ED Smith since my junior GPA is only 3.5… My counselor told me not to do that though…
