I am 10th in my class out of 129.
I have a GPA of 3.85 weighted.
I have a ok sat scores around 1300 but I am taking them again (I hate standardized tests). I am also a bad timed test taker I panic.
I am also taking the ACT's.
I am involved in many activities including community service, art, acting, school competitions, sports, etc. I am an outgoing individual and I set up an interview.
I am just worried how much the SAT's count on the admission process and what my chances of getting in if I improved my score but still didn't get a 1500.
Thanks

You chances are very good for admission! Your grades and academic profile seem fine. You should retake the SAT or ACT. Increasing these test results, if possible, will likely help increase your chances for merit scholarship consideration. We do need to use the test results in combination with your grades and out of class experience to help guide the amount of merit funding for each new students. Funding is available. To be fair, we do need to look at the results as we award merit money. Hope this helps? An interview will also help if you can arrange to come in and meet with one of the staff.

Please stay in touch with the office if you do have any additional questions.
