I'm a nigerian american male (born here) and have a 2000 SAT, 720 cr, 610 math, 670 writing. I only have a 26 ACT(not enough time to finish each problem for my liking) and 3.3 unweighted gpa 3.636 weighted. I went to a magnet school freshman year but due to being on two soccer teams at the same time, high school and club (i skipped 3rd grade so younger age), I got two c's in a row and failed out so my gpa during freshman year was pretty poor. I intend to articulate this in a seperate essay. Last semester i got all a's, i've always taken ap and honor classes, got a 5 on APES and Ap Lang tests and a 4 on APUSH. My dad got his m.d. at University of Michigan. I'm a senior and intend on getting all a's this semester so a 4.5 which would increase my gpa to maybe a 3.8 before I apply for Unc (I'm applying to unc regular decision but U of M early). Oh and I live in Georgia so both out of state, any and all help is greatly appreciated!

I’d say both of them are a low reach/high match for you. You should probably only send your SAT score cause its much better than your ACT.

UNC: Reach (OOS is a reach for anyone)
UMI: Reach

Both are reaches

Ok thanks a lot, are they high reaches as these are my dream schools kypdurron and catria or like only a little of a reach like Liquid said? Oh and i unfortunately already sent in the ACT scores so i could get the free score reports a month before i took the SAT My other college choices are uga, northwestern, wake forest, emory(pretty big stretch i know), and swarthmore so hopefully at least one of those other than uga lol.
