What are my chances for UNC Chapel Hill?

<p>I REALLY need to know what my chances are for UNC-Chapel Hill. I've only applied to UNCG and UNC Chapel Hill so far, but I need to know if I should apply to more back-up colleges before the February 1 deadlines... UNCG's more of a last-ditch resort, and everything would just work out perfectly if I go to UNC, but the question is will I make it? The people at my school who were accepted through EA have been...surprising...and it's making me worry about my chances...</p>

Major: Biology, Nursing, Pre-Med, or Predentistry

<p>My essays weren't the best or the worst, but I'm really sure I got some good recommendations. So how often would someone like me be rejected? Everyone tells me I'm a lock, but I'm just really worried. I REALLY appreciate any feedback! If any of you want me to see your chances, I'd be willing to do so too!</p>

<p>If you are in-state, then you have a good chance (very good) of acceptance. If out of state, it’ll be a bit harder. I’m applying to unc in-state with relatively similar scores(slighty lower, but I have times 6 legacy).</p>

<p>I would say you are definitely in an Chapel Hill. I had worse scores/grades than you and I was accepted (I was in-state too). You’ll be fine. :)</p>

<p>I really see little commitment to anything. A lot of resume-stuffing clubs and activities that typically deter admissions officers. In addition to that, it seems as if your essays are less than spectacular. In a competitive pool like that, it puts you at a major disadvantage.</p>
