I’m an international Student from India and am applying into Computer Science.
Computer Science is one of the most competitive programs to get into. Your SAT scores are fine. Canadian schools will look at your 11th grade gpa and put you on hold until your 12th grade gpa comes in because your 11th grade gpa is too low.
Canadian students require at least a 70% in their 11th grade gpa to get into UAlberta. Most have high 80s for a science major.
By the time you can show 90+ grades for 12th, all the spots in computing science may be gone.
Cant I get admission based on my projected 12th Grades and letters of recommendation?
@abhiyerramilli Letters of recommendation aren’t considered and you need actual grades unless you have class X board results. Here’s the link to the appropriate page https://www.ualberta.ca/admissions/international/resources/ualberta-and-your-country/india
I have got the Grade 10 board marksheet.
