So I’ve done my research on the school and I know my chances are definitely low. My GPA is a 3.02 weighted and non-weighted it’s about a 2.69. Now I know my chances with my non-weighted are completely out of question but I’ve been talking to an admission counselor, and she said that they look at weighted GPA. Also, my SAT scores weren’t anything spectacular, which I scored a 1490, and that’s critical reading, math, and the writing section combined. I also had a few mistakes on my transcripts, that I took the time in detail to explain in my essay I had to submit, and I submitted 2 letters of rec to speak on my behalf. I know my chances are definitely low, but I just want to know if there is a shred of hope that I may get accepted??
Well, you know it’s a reach for you, but a reachable reach, so your odds are likely to be 1 in 3, perhaps 1 in 2.
Where else have you applied? WHat’s your parents’ budget?
I’ve applied to CSU Fresno, San Diego, San Marcos, and chico! My mother hasn’t really set up a budget, she’s hoping that my fasfa can cover majority of it, and that I can do a lot of scholarships.
I’ve also done over 300 hours of community service, and the classes I’ve been taken have been rigorous because I’m in the IB and Avid Program! Idk if that helps any with my chances??
Honestly, i don’t know enough about UofDenver to give you much of an opinion.

Based solely on their freshman class profile, i’d say it is a stretch.
Of the CSUs, you list, i think you’ll probably get into CSUFresno and San Marcos - particularly if one of them is local to you. It is hard to know for sure without your SAT breakdown and CSU GPA.
Good luck.
